The owners of Cash Crop Co have been supplying large scale professional tulip, tomato and vegetable growers with high quality fertilizers, mediums and technical advice solutions in Holland since 1994.

Cash Crop products were released on the market in 2002 as the owners had become aware of the need for solutions for growers of hydroponic tomatoes and hydroponic vegetables and took up the challenge to supply a variety of reliable and good quality home hydroponics systems and products to meet the customer's needs. The aim was to find a solution so that we could deliver hydroponic fertilizer, stimulants and mediums for a hydroponics system that would deliver superior quality home hydroponic results as well as out performing other brands in terms of yield, growth and flavour.

The Cash Crop founders built on their agricultural qualifications and their knowledge and experience from the professional horticultural market. The first products (mineral and organic fertilizers) were developed in Amsterdam in 1999 at Cash Crop’s first warehouse and testing facility.

Three years of solution orientated and extensive research followed, growing hydroponic tomatoes and hydroponic vegetables and product testing on more than 50,000 plants under artificial horticultural lamps. Our hydroponics systems were developed utilising contributions and expertise from the most experienced growers in Amsterdam and Dutch plant scientists, resulting in the very best hydroponics system available.

It was worth the effort as shortly after Cash Crop was born.
