Our RHP certified mediums are the perfect partner for any hydroponics kit. Essentially the growing media is the substitute for soil and is therefore one of the most vital elements in any hydroponics grow kit. There are a wide variety of different media available but many don’t deliver all the necessary nutrients or provide the perfect growing environment. Our two products have been carefully designed to ensure your hydroponic garden gets exactly that; quality and reliability guaranteed.

Cocopeat

Our cocopeat is a natural organic fibre derived from coconut husks, found growing in Sri Lanka and India.

Cocopeat has been produced & packaged following strict R.H.P. guidelines and has therefore been washed and cleaned to remove all salts and debris found naturally in the coconut fibre of the husks. Further, the coco fibre in Cash Crop’s Cocopeat has also been treated, aged and buffered precisely which prevents Calcium and Magnesium block out (compacting and decomposing during use). It has also been enhanced with beneficial trichaderma mould, which stimulates roots and protects them from disease.

The above description used in manufacturing Cash Crop’s Cocopeat guarantees a quick & healthy response from cuttings & seedlings whilst also producing a healthy, fast & higher yielding harvest.

Additionally, as we use only the best coconut fibre, our Cocopeat has superior oxygen, water and nutrient retention when compared to other growing media or other Cocopeat brands available. With an air/oxygen porosity of 30% and the ability to hold seven times its own weight with water and nutrients, Cash Crop’s Cocopeat is the smart choice for all indoor, hobby or professional growers alike.

CocoBlend

Cash Crop CocoBlend is a perfect replacement for soil and other varieties of growing media. It’s been specifically designed to appear and behave like other high quality premium soils & potty mixes, yet provides a better growing environment for roots and increasing overall crop results.

CocoBlend is produced and packaged exactly like our other growing medium Cocopeat, adhering to the strict Dutch RHP standards. These standards guarantee the quality, safety and reliability and are internationally respected being used as a measuring stick for quality of professional media.

Another benefit of CocoBlend is that NO extra nutrient fertilizer is added to the blend. This allows the grower to be in total control of the growing crop via nutrient feeding. This is highly important because it eliminates the common mistake of over feeding or under feeding a plant. (Obviously over or under feeding leads to plant death or poor results.)

Controlling the complete hydroponics grow kit and regulating feeding means a plant is fed the correct nutritional balance, at the correct time which dramatically increases performance and yield.

The oxygen/air porosity of the coco fibre in CocoBlend is outstanding at 30% which is approximately double the amount of other premium soils and potty mixes. Additionally, CocoBlend’s water and nutrient retention is equal to other premium soils and potty mixes.

Using CocoBlend as a growing medium offers the ease, attention and convenience of soil and potty mix and delivers superior quality in strength and flavour of Buds and fruits.
